About The Position

Moog’s Space and Defense Group is seeking an Electronics Test Technician to test flight-deliverable electronic assemblies for Moog Broad Reach products. The position is onsite in Gilbert, Arizona, and reports to the Test Supervisor. The work schedule is 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Arizona time on a 9/80A schedule. Testing includes running functional scripts using Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) and conducting environmental tests such as vibration, thermal, EMI, and thermal vacuum testing. The technician follows written test procedures, supports debugging, assembles hardware, and operates environmental chambers as needed. The role also includes component-level troubleshooting with digital multimeters and oscilloscopes; installing completed circuit card assemblies into chassis assemblies; limited cable or circuit-card rework; and mechanical fabrication and assembly of test-equipment enclosures and front panels. The technician records troubleshooting steps and results, updates procedures and test-equipment designs, and supports document release through Moog Broad Reach’s document control system. Tools used for documentation include Microsoft Visio, Excel, Word, and Intercept Mozaix. The technician maintains orderly work areas and may perform tasks of a lesser or similar nature under the supervision of a senior technician.
