Electronics Test Technician
About The Position
Motorola Solutions is seeking an experienced Electronics Test Technician to join the P25 Automated Test Engineering (ATE) team in Plantation, Florida. The role supports product development across the product lifecycle, from material procurement through testing and final certification, as part of a product operations support group. The technician performs laboratory testing, processes data and test results, collaborates with engineering, and generates clear test reports. The position requires knowledge of electrical circuits, soldering, and common test instruments, along with the ability to follow strict test procedures and record accurate data. The role requires an associate degree in electronics, engineering technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, and at least three years of relevant hands-on experience. No travel or relocation is provided.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Electronics, Engineering Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in electronics testing, lab environments, or manufacturing quality control.
- Understanding of electrical circuits and soldering.
- Ability to use oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and similar tools.
- Strong analytical, facilitation, documentation, and communication skills.
- Excellent observation and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and written standards.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow strict test procedures and record exact data.

- Knowledge of Microsoft and Google operating environments.
