About The Position

Amentum is hiring an Ops Watch Officer in its Intelligence and Cyber Group in McLean, Virginia. The role supports a counterterrorism watch center and operations environment, providing counterterrorism awareness for NCTC and the broader CT community. The officer monitors classified and open-source information for worldwide threats to the United States, prioritizes intelligence and operational traffic, and helps ensure critical information reaches the appropriate officials promptly. The position also involves producing alerts and responses to time-sensitive events and notifying customer leadership of breaking events worldwide. The role works on a Panama Plus rotating schedule: a five-week rotation that includes two weeks of day shifts (4 a.m.–4 p.m.) and two weeks of night shifts (4 p.m.–4 a.m.). The work supports 24x7 watch operations. An active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required. The position is not designated as safety sensitive.

Requirements

Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
Bachelor’s degree.
At least three years of experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of all-source information, including HUMINT, SIGINT, IMINT, open source, and ELINT.
Ability to support 24x7 watch operations while working twelve-hour shifts.
Familiarity with a variety of Intelligence Community databases, networks, and environments.
Ability to use MS Office applications in a multi-level security setting.

Responsibilities

Continuously monitor multiple channels of classified and open-source media for worldwide threats related to the United States.
Sort and prioritize intelligence and operational message traffic.
Provide early warnings and alerts to key officials and facilitate timely flow of critical information to those who need it.
Produce alerts and responses to time-sensitive events, providing policymakers with intelligence about developing and changing situations.
Alert customer leadership to breaking events worldwide.
Follow Amentum safety, quality, procedure-compliance, and applicable training requirements.
