About The Position

Leidos is hiring an Operations Watch Officer for its Intel Sector Analysis Solutions Business Area in McLean, Virginia. The selected candidate will support a fast-paced, mission-critical counterterrorism watch center and operations environment at a client site, serving on a team of highly qualified and motivated professionals. Candidates with intelligence, military, or law enforcement backgrounds are sought. The role requires a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and a rotating shift schedule of two weeks on days followed by two weeks on nights. Shifts run either 4:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or 4:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.

Requirements

Analytic work experience in the Intelligence Community or military.
Familiarity with a variety of Intelligence Community databases, networks, and environments.
Ability to use MS Office applications effectively in a multi-level security setting.
Experience with Identity Resolution, Watchlisting, or Targeting.
Bachelor’s degree and two years of relevant experience; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Ability to work a rotating shift schedule of two weeks on days and two weeks on nights, with shifts from 4:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or 4:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.
TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Responsibilities

Continuously monitor multiple classified and open-source media channels for worldwide threats related to the United States.
Sort and prioritize intelligence and operational message traffic.
Provide early warnings and alerts to key officials and facilitate timely delivery of critical information to those who need it.
Produce alerts and responses to time-sensitive events, providing policymakers with intelligence about developing and changing situations.
Alert customer leadership to breaking events worldwide.
