About The Position

The Operations Program Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations within the model shop and manufacturing support environment, ensuring production priorities, customer requirements, and program schedules are successfully executed. This role acts as the primary operational liaison between manufacturing, engineering, program management, planning, supply chain, and leadership teams. This position is on 1st shift working a 4/10 schedule Monday through Thursday. The ideal candidate will have a strong manufacturing background with experience coordinating high-mix, low-volume machined hardware, managing production flow, supporting quoting activities, and driving on-time delivery in a fast-paced aerospace and defense environment. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting operational execution across several active programs simultaneously.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of manufacturing or machining experience within a production environment.
  • Experience supporting aerospace, defense, or high-precision manufacturing operations.
  • Strong understanding of production scheduling, manufacturing flow, and operational coordination.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience within a machine shop or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience supporting rapid-turn prototype or model shop operations.
  • Knowledge of aerospace and defense manufacturing standards and customer expectations.
  • Experience supporting hiring activities and workforce development.
