This position provides consulting guidance and assistance for the SW Region of ORCP with Human Resource processing, including attendance and leave, employee relations, classification, payroll, and benefits. It also offers logistical, technical, and operational consulting guidance in developing and administering top priorities within the Reserve, overseeing Awards and Recognition programs, and coordinating DEP Travel and Training programs for the region. The role involves administering training to staff, providing new employee orientation guidance, and interpreting DEP Directives and Policies. Additionally, it requires consulting with field staff to collect information for reports, reviewing and submitting reports, and providing consultive support to Aquatic Preserve (AP) offices in the Southwest Region. The position also assists in developing and revising office internal policies and procedures, ensures operational policies are implemented, and provides consultive, technical, logistical, and administrative assistance during emergencies. A key responsibility includes providing exclusive consultive support to the Program Administrator, which may involve calendar management, travel coordination, and composing/editing correspondence. The role performs other duties as required.
