About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Optometric Technician to join a patient-focused eye care team in Clayton, North Carolina. The technician works closely with optometrists and staff to provide an exceptional patient experience, from pre-testing through patient education. Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for eye exams.
• Perform pre-testing procedures, including autorefraction, tonometry, and retinal imaging.
• Record patient medical history and maintain accurate electronic health records.
• Assist optometrists during examinations as needed.
• Educate patients on contact lens care and handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of exam rooms and equipment.
• Support administrative or optical functions as required.
