About The Position

Spectrum Vision Partners (SVP) and OCLI Vision provide eye care through a large, multi-specialty ophthalmology network. SVP provides management services to OCLI so doctors and staff can focus on patient care. The Ophthalmic Technician supports doctors and helps ensure a smooth patient experience by handling pre-exam work, gathering patient information, performing routine tests, and assisting with procedures.

Requirements

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to stand, walk, and sit, and occasionally lift up to 10 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of ocular pharmacology.

Responsibilities

• Record vision, depth, color, and peripheral tests.
• Apply eye drops and collect and process specimens.
• Triage emergencies and manage patient flow.
• Prepare rooms and assist doctors during procedures.
• Maintain equipment and follow infection control protocols.
