About The Position

Join an established, growing multispecialty ophthalmology group as an Ophthalmic Technician. The role supports ophthalmologists and clinical staff by collecting patient information, conducting preliminary examinations and diagnostic testing, assisting with procedures, administering eye drops, and helping keep clinic and imaging-room workflows organized. Locations vary depending on operating-room time and include Plymouth Meeting, Nazareth, and Sewell, New Jersey. The posting offers a $1,000 sign-on bonus and states up to 32 hours per week.

Responsibilities

Gather comprehensive patient information to support accurate diagnoses and personalized treatment plans.
Conduct preliminary examinations, including visual acuity and pupillary-response testing.
Administer diagnostic tests such as OCT, perimetry, and ophthalmic photography.
Assist ophthalmologists during minor surgeries, laser procedures, and crosslinking.
Manage patient flow in the clinic and imaging rooms in collaboration with clinical staff.
Administer eye drops.
Perform clinical, administrative, and other assigned tasks that support an efficient, high-quality medical practice.
