About The Position

The Operator manufactures defect-free products safely and efficiently while maintaining a clean and orderly work environment. The role operates Coating, Metallizing, Slitting, and Finishing production equipment and follows production schedules, construction cards, work instructions, and procedures. Operators also use SAP to complete required ERP transactions and label goods, troubleshoot quality non-conformances and equipment issues as needed and in accordance with their training, and communicate production status to incoming shifts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three years of experience in chemical manufacturing or a printing, coating, or metallizing operation is preferred.
• Ability to perform all required tasks in the SAP ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment, follow safety and environmental procedures, identify and report unsafe conditions, and correct unsafe conditions when possible.
• Maintain competency in operating Coating, Metallizing, Slitting, and Finishing production equipment.
• Manufacture products to specification by following construction cards.
• Troubleshoot quality non-conformances, machine breakdowns, and failures as needed and in accordance with training and work instructions.
• Follow departmental work instructions and procedures to support safe, quality, and efficient output.
• Follow the production schedule, perform transactions in the ERP system, and label goods according to work instructions.
• Perform all required tasks in SAP.
• Communicate production status effectively to the incoming shift to ensure production continues.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
