About The Position

The Operator – Liquid Packing runs production lines to support the plant’s production needs. The role involves setting up and operating equipment, supervising assigned personnel, and ensuring packaging meets company and customer specifications. The operator follows established procedures and guidelines, reads production orders and instructions, verifies packaged goods, records data, and may adjust equipment as needed.

Requirements

• Competent English skills in spoken communication and reading comprehension.
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Ability to rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform job functions.
• Willingness to obtain forklift certification.
• Ability to work under supervision.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand for 8 hours a day.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in an uncontrolled-temperature environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate production processes and equipment in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
• Supervise assigned personnel in filling, securing, and labeling containers according to company and/or customer specifications.
• Verify packaged goods against Job Production Orders and instructions, and record data as needed.
• Adjust equipment as needed.
• Read and interpret Production Orders and instructions.
