About The Position

This internship provides introductory training related to Water Resources in the functional areas of Water Treatment/Wells, Wastewater Treatment, Collections, Distribution, Maintenance, SCADA/Electrical and/or Administration. Incumbents will receive on the job training and gain critical experience for higher-level operational knowledge and skills. Generally, incumbents are preparing for a broad range of operational knowledge as it relates to each Water Resource Management division rather than a specialized section within a division.

Requirements

• An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
• Must be able to complete the on-the-job requirements.

Responsibilities

• Receive on the job training in Water Resources functional areas.
• Gain critical experience for higher-level operational knowledge and skills.
• Prepare for a broad range of operational knowledge related to Water Resource Management divisions.
