Operator Assistant II - Service Operator II - Coiled Tubing
About The Position
Halliburton is hiring an Operator Assistant II for its Coiled Tubing operations. Under strict supervision, this role assists with delivering PSL equipment to the wellsite and assembling and preparing equipment for installation and service. The position also involves cleaning, repairing, and preparing equipment for the next job. The Operator Assistant II assists with Job Safety Analyses and safety meetings while learning basic operations, including pre- and post-job equipment inspections, preventative maintenance, operation and maintenance of a high-pressure fluid pump, hydrostatic testing of Blow Out Prevention Equipment and reels, and monitoring well-control parameters during job applications. The role promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness, follows applicable HSE procedures and regulations, and participates in the Quality Improvement Process. Work is performed under supervision, and errors are readily identifiable and correctable.
Requirements
- Completion of high school or similar education.
- At least 6 months of experience.
- Successful completion of company tests or satisfaction of task guideline requirements.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Basic reading comprehension and writing skills.

Responsibilities

- Monitor well-control parameters during job applications.
- Promote safety awareness and environmental consciousness and comply with applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines.
- Promote and actively participate in the Quality Improvement Process.
