About The Position

KLX Energy Services LLC is seeking a Coil Operator for its Victoria, Texas location. The Operator performs essential duties with general supervision and is responsible for safely executing operations at service locations. Duties may include rigging up trucks and cranes, assisting with operations in the shop and field, operating and maintaining assigned trucks and equipment, and keeping operational records. Work at customer well locations may involve inclement weather and confined spaces.

Requirements

Less than high school education.
Two to four years of work experience.
Valid Class A driver's license with an X endorsement.
Acceptable driving history.

Two to four years of work experience.
Forklift Operator qualification.
Crane Operator qualification.
Quality and HSE certifications.
Relevant oilfield product line experience.

Responsibilities

Perform shipping, loading, and unloading duties in accordance with standard shipping procedures and applicable Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, including transportation routing and scheduling requirements.
Verify and document the identity and quantity of equipment.
Support crew members with on- and off-location operations as directed.
Place equipment as directed by the Supervisor.
Complete job-related paperwork, driver logs, and vehicle inspection reports.
Install and disassemble equipment according to original manufacturer standards, including verifying applicable certifications.
Assemble, secure, and disconnect equipment.
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment, including diagnostics.
Perform minor repairs as needed under supervision and/or coordinate with technicians regarding equipment failures.
Monitor, evaluate, and adjust processes or equipment to maximize quality and efficiency.
Follow applicable safety guidelines and industry standards.
Operate assigned trucks and equipment and maintain records for overall operations.
May operate heavy machinery if properly certified.
