About The Position

Manufacture tubing products in accordance with customer specifications, quality standards, and production requirements. The operator uses manufacturing machinery and equipment for tubing production and related operations, follows production and quality procedures, and documents work to support traceability and compliance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is strongly preferred but not required; relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
• Exposure to manufacturing equipment, machinery, and continuous production-related noise.
• Ability to stand for extended periods; sitting is generally limited to breaks.
• Ability to climb stairs regularly to access mezzanine areas.
• Ability to handle and dispense coatings into reservoirs while using appropriate PPE.
• Ability to move wire spools weighing 50 to 300 pounds using approved material-handling equipment.
• Ability to reach, grasp, push, and pull frequently.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards and attention to detail.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, and division, and assembly skills.
• Good interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Computer skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to work as part of an effective team.
• Ability to distinguish color and good vision for inspection purposes.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery and equipment used in tubing manufacturing, tubing prototype production, and braiding operations; operate wire insulating ovens when cross-trained.
• Follow specifications, process sheets, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Use measuring equipment and approved gauging instruments to verify that products meet specifications.
• Maintain records for traceability, statistical process control (SPC), customer compliance, and quality assurance.
• Identify out-of-specification conditions and notify Quality personnel as required.
• Follow Quality Assurance procedures and requirements.
• Adhere to safety procedures, housekeeping standards, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
• Comply with environmental policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
