If you’re ready to grow with us, we’d love to hear from you. We are seeking an Operator 3 – Bakery Production (Mixer Help) to join our Production team at our Hazleton, PA bakery. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately scaling, recording, and supporting the mixing of ingredients to ensure each batch meets product specifications while maintaining safety, quality, and food safety standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Basic math, timekeeping, and recordkeeping skills.
  • Ability to make logical decisions and follow detailed instructions.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift, push, or drag up to 50 lbs. and frequently carry more than 20 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a food manufacturing or bakery production environment.
  • Familiarity with ingredient scaling, mixing processes, or SAP-based inventory systems.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, safety-sensitive manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately scale, record, and report all ingredients to ensure products are mixed according to established recipes and specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, safety, and company standards throughout the mixing process.
  • Maintain accurate, legible production records, including lot codes, dough temperatures, mix times, and downtime documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with production team members, supervisors, and support departments to support efficient production flow.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and report ingredient, equipment, or process issues to minimize downtime, waste, and safety risks.
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized work area in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • Support team performance by assisting with training, shift transitions, and production setup as needed.
