If you’re ready to grow with us, we’d love to hear from you. We are seeking an Operator 3 – Bakery Production (Mixer) to join our team at our Hazleton, PA bakery. As an Operator 3 – Mixer, you will be accountable for accurately scaling ingredients and operating mixing processes to ensure all products meet quality, safety, and production standards while supporting efficient and cost-effective operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
  • Basic math skills and timekeeping ability
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written formulas and production schedules
  • Ability to make logical decisions and solve basic process issues
  • Ability to lift, push, or move up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and climbing
  • Ability to work in varying conditions including hot, cold, wet, noisy, or confined environments

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a food manufacturing or bakery production environment
  • Familiarity with SAP or production tracking systems
  • Experience operating mixing or similar processing equipment
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety standards
  • Experience supporting training or mentoring new team members

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor mixing processes to ensure products meet specifications for quality, consistency, and composition
  • Accurately scale, measure, and record ingredients, including lot tracking and documentation compliance
  • Maintain production records including batch data, downtime, and process adjustments
  • Communicate effectively with production, quality, sanitation, and maintenance teams to ensure efficient operations
  • Troubleshoot minor equipment or process issues and escalate as needed to minimize downtime
  • Ensure adherence to food safety, GMPs, safety standards, and company policies
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment while supporting team operations and training efforts
