About The Position

We are seeking an Operator 3, Bakery- Day Off Relief - 2nd Shift to join our team at our Cayce, South Carolina bakery. As an Operator 3, Bakery- Day Off Relief - 2nd Shift, you will be accountable for supporting all phases of the production and packaging process by operating automated equipment, ensuring product quality, maintaining food safety standards, and helping achieve production goals. This role is critical to maintaining operational continuity by providing coverage across production areas and becoming fully versed in bakery operations.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
Equipment operation and troubleshooting knowledge.
Strong communication and observational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Ability to adapt to changing production priorities and assignments.
Ability to perform essential job functions, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and working around production equipment.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or GED.
Three (3) years of manufacturing experience.
Food manufacturing experience.
Knowledge of production and packaging operations.
Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor production and packaging equipment to ensure quality and efficiency.
Adjust and troubleshoot equipment to maintain production standards and minimize downtime.
Maintain accurate production records and required documentation.
Ensure compliance with food safety, GMP, and quality standards.
Support equipment setup, changeovers, start-ups, and shutdowns.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas and equipment.
Adhere to production schedules, formulas, and operational requirements.
