If you’re ready to grow with us, we’d love to hear from you. We are seeking an Operator 2, Bakery – Depanner Assistant to join our team at our Cayce, SC bakery. As an Operator 2, Bakery – Depanner Assistant, you will be accountable for operating and monitoring production equipment to ensure products meet quality, food safety, and production standards. This role plays a critical part in maintaining efficient bakery operations, supporting equipment performance, and ensuring a safe and compliant production environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Knowledge of production equipment and basic troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Strong communication and observational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Experience in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Experience operating automated production equipment.
  • Familiarity with production schedules, run orders, and equipment changeovers.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and adjust production equipment to ensure products meet quality and food safety standards.
  • Monitor production processes and product quality to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate production records, documentation, and reporting requirements.
  • Ensure equipment, work areas, and production processes comply with safety and sanitation standards.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and communicate equipment or production issues to appropriate personnel.
  • Support equipment start-ups, changeovers, and daily production activities to achieve production goals.
  • Follow GMPs, established processes, and operational procedures to ensure consistent product quality.
