As an Operator 1, you will operate CNC and manual machining equipment in a fast paced, team oriented environment where quality, safety, and continuous improvement are at the center of everything we do.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
0 to 6 months of experience operating machining equipment producing simple to moderately complex components
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
Basic math skills and strong attention to detail
Experience using precision measuring equipment
Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity
Ability to read and understand blueprints
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team environment
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC and manual machinery to manufacture medical components from raw materials
Operate multiple simple machines simultaneously while maintaining quality and productivity standards
Use precision measuring and inspection equipment to verify product quality
Read and interpret blueprints and manufacturing documentation
Identify and replace dull tooling as required
Complete production documentation, data entry transactions, and barcode scanning activities accurately
Support continuous improvement initiatives by actively participating in team activities and problem solving
Perform preventative maintenance and maintain a clean, organized work area
Follow all Quality System requirements, company policies, FDA regulations, QSR requirements, and applicable domestic and international standards
Comply with all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned
