About The Position

NORY is seeking a full-time Operations & Warehouse Coordinator to manage critical behind-the-scenes systems for their STEM learning experiences. This role involves taking ownership of a key business area, building scalable systems, leading a team, and working closely with leadership. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, process improvement, and making things happen. The coordinator will oversee daily warehouse operations, manage inventory, lead material preparation for various programs, handle the full logistics cycle, and manage a team. Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including organization, inventory tracking, and material flow.
  • Build and maintain strong inventory systems to ensure materials are always stocked, accurate, and easy to access.
  • Keep the workspace clean, safe, and highly functional.
  • Lead preparation of enrichment materials across arts, woodworking, and engineering programs.
  • Ensure a high bar for accuracy, efficiency, and quality in material preparation.
  • Own the full logistics cycle: ordering, preparation, packing, transportation, and campsite setup.
  • Coordinate deliveries and movement of materials across NYC locations.
  • Manage and support the maker and warehouse team.
  • Build a culture of accountability, ownership, and follow-through within the team.
  • Create and refine systems, workflows, and protocols.
  • Identify inefficiencies and implement scalable improvements.
  • Ensure materials and logistics are aligned with program goals and timelines.
  • Design practical, efficient warehouse organization that supports speed and scale.
