About The Position

Visium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for this Operations Warehouse Admin position. This position is a contract opportunity, with a potential of transition to direct. It will primarily be an on-site position in Orlando, FL. As an Operations Warehouse Admin, you will assist the inventory control team in documenting / updating/creating SOPs by functional areas within the warehouse. You will be involved in updating inventory part records in regard to obsolescence.

Requirements

• Knowledge of MRP systems, production control and inventory control.
• Microsoft Office suite experience.
• Associate's degree required.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with fundamental warehouse procedures
• Lean manufacturing experience, including 5S.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Supply Chain and Warehouse teams in the execution of technical activities associated with process improvements, such as: SOP documentation / updating, Part usage analysis, Warehouse design and layout, Kitting of parts for manufacturing and assembly
• Learn and perform testing to enhance system usage and support execution of material movement throughout two warehouse locations
• Assist in obsolescence review / removal from inventory and system update
• Lead other projects as assigned
