You must reside in the Texas market. You’ll join us at our Restaurant Support Center in Huntington Beach as needed.

Requirements

  • Serve as a trusted training and operations partner to VPOs, DOs/AVPs, and restaurant leaders.
  • Use observations, coaching, and performance data to identify gaps and implement targeted improvement plans.
  • Champion BJ's Gold Standard of Operational Excellence by ensuring consistent execution of training programs and operational standards throughout your region.
  • Create training resources and provide regular updates on progress, results, and opportunities.
  • 5-7 years of restaurant/retail operations experience with leadership roles and coaching others
  • Multi-unit restaurant operations, training, or leadership development experience.
  • Experience developing managers, trainers, and high-performing restaurant teams.
  • Ability to analyze performance trends and turn insights into action.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency creating training materials, presentations, guides, and learning resources.
  • Must reside in, or be able to regularly support, the assigned region

Responsibilities

  • Partner with operational leaders to strengthen training execution and restaurant performance across your region (Texas).
  • Coach and support Restaurant Training Managers, MITs, and certified trainers to deliver consistent, high-quality training.
  • Partner with field leaders to create customized training plans that address restaurant-specific opportunities and drive measurable results.
  • Lead regional training workshops, support company initiatives, and help execute successful New Restaurant Openings.
  • Build and sustain a pipeline of certified trainers and high-performing training restaurants.
