Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years warehouse experience
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel)
  • Working knowledge of WMS systems
  • Forklift experience
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
  • Must be able to work both indoors and outside

  • Strong technical aptitude which includes using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, scanners and enter orders into a WMS System
  • Equipment certification may be required, depending on location
  • Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in supporting standard facility Key Performance Indicators (KPI) which consistently meet/exceed established goals in safety, quality, sanitation and maintenance
  • Create and maintain daily dock schedules
  • Communicate with carriers regarding setting appointments and updating load statuses
  • Work closely with Operations Supervisor to ensure the work load is being distributed properly and evenly by managing WMS down to the floor
  • Work closely with the inventory department and on-site personnel to resolve any problems with the day's orders
  • Interact with the customer to communicate order changes and updates
  • Maintain various Excel spreadsheets and reports
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned
