JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the working condition of all distribution center automated mailing equipment and the safety of its use.

Requirements

Minimum two year of experience in a similar role in manufacturing or automated distribution facility.
Intermediate Mechanical (including Hydraulics and Pneumatics), Electrical, and Computer Skills.
Basic understanding of industrial machines operating principles.
Experience/Ability to work with CMMS.
Safety oriented mindset.
Maintain proficiency for MS Office Word, Excel, and Skype.
Ability to communicate via verbal or written methods with operators, supervisors, engineering.
Detail oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
Flexible with scheduling based on business need.
Positive and team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

Setup the use of tools and equipment prior to production for optimum safety levels.
Intermediate troubleshooting, maintain, and repair automated mailing equipment.
Work with vendors and other internal groups to resolve maintenance issues, improve equipment reliability and minimize equipment downtime.
Train operations employees on proper use and basic maintenance of automation machines
Submit reports and participate in weekly Tech calls.
Provide guidance and training to Automation Tech I employees.
Support in the update manuals and programs for automated equipment.
Work on in house automation projects with automation engineers.
Supports Automation Helpdesk Level 1.
