About The Position

In the Estates Insights – Court Order Department, the Court Order Team is responsible for processing documents and transactions related to Court Orders, Garnishments, and Levies. This is a high performing team, in a fast-paced environment, dedicated to driving forward multiple firm priorities, regulatory changes, and additional improvement initiatives. Through strategic thinking and cross-functional collaboration, you’ll continuously identify opportunities for operational efficiency and risk mitigation, supporting the firm in its key objectives. As an Operations Team Generalist, you will be working closely with the Legal Response Team to process transactions, restrictions, and disbursements related to court order, garnishment, and levy documents and accounts. Other responsibilities include process improvement, risk identification and mitigation, and coordination of the team's work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Business, Finance or Accounting preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience in the financial services industry or related field is required.
  • Familiarity with industry and business area specific regulations is required within 6 months.
  • Ability to make recommendations to resolve and improve system issues is required.
  • Must have ability to identify process improvement opportunities and determine business requirements while understanding upstream and downstream impacts to other systems.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with other business areas on system requirements, process changes, etc. required.
  • Must have time management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and handle a moderate to heavy workload to be able to fulfill all the roles within the area.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, research, and interpret complex information utilizing a high degree of industry and regulatory knowledge related to the business area.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on multiple business area functions including a deep understanding of both how and why the work is performed.
  • Train and coach associates within or across multiple business areas.
  • Work with the Legal Response Team to create and maintain team processes and upstream impacts.
  • Provide analysis of information along with alternative solutions and present recommendations to business area leaders for process or system improvements.
  • Implement agreed-upon solutions.
