About The Position

International Motors is hiring an Operations Support Analyst. This is a temporary position with potential for full-time employment. The purpose of this position is to provide operations support for all duties as assigned to accurately and efficiently support our customers and daily operations in areas of customer service, accounting, transportation, records, claims and returns.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Performs a variety of tasks to support the preparation of the detailed financial statements and the maintenance of various financial subsystems.
  • Performs routine activities within the computer room, such as monitor all systems, equipment logs, reports, and batch schedule performance.
  • Perform first level problem determination and resolution or escalate issue accurately to appropriate personnel and properly document outages and problems.
  • Receive and respond to all customer inquiries, return requests, credits and discrepancies that are related to customer and dealer parts returns, including shipped-in-error, ordered-in-error, annual surplus, specials, and terminations. Process and complete all dealer inquiries and adjustments to invoices and statements resulting from customer orders.
  • Trace and expedite inbound and outbound shipments with various transportation carriers, preparing claims, reports, and issuing credits for damages, shortages, and related items. Check freight bills, verifies rates, tariff applications and classification on all inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Maintain record integrity by performing inventory checks in the warehouse, to investigate and do root cause trend analysis on inventory discrepancies, making accurate inventory adjustments, processing inbound receipts, investigating receipt discrepancies, and performing various office related and reporting functions.
