About The Position

Expleo is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to lead a team of approximately 15–25 employees in an advanced aerospace manufacturing environment. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on production leader who enjoys being close to the operation, developing people, solving problems, improving performance, and driving results. You’ll have real operational ownership, managing production priorities while supporting safety, quality, on-time delivery, and continuous improvement. The role offers the opportunity to lead a skilled team and build valuable experience in one of Québec’s most important industries. You'll have the opportunity to: Own key production and performance metrics, Coach and develop employees, Solve day-to-day production challenges, Lead Lean and continuous-improvement initiatives, Improve processes affecting safety, quality and delivery, Work alongside experienced manufacturing, engineering and operations professionals.

Requirements

  • Experience supervising or leading employees in a manufacturing, production or industrial environment
  • Strong people-leadership and coaching skills
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and make sound decisions in a dynamic production environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Professional proficiency in French and English

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a unionized environment
  • Aerospace or other complex manufacturing experience
  • Experience managing production KPIs
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or structured problem-solving

Responsibilities

  • Leading, coaching and supporting approximately 15–25 unionized employees
  • Planning and prioritizing workload to achieve production objectives
  • Monitoring KPIs and taking action when performance moves off target
  • Creating an environment of accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement
  • Coaching employees and supporting their professional development
  • Managing individual and team performance fairly and consistently
  • Leading structured problem-solving activities
  • Identifying opportunities to improve and standardize manufacturing processes
  • Promoting the sharing of knowledge and best practices
  • Partnering with other functions to remove roadblocks and keep production moving
