About The Position

An Operations Supervisor supports the CVS Store Management team by planning and driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty through excellent customer service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads the store and supervisory staff, keeps operations running smoothly, and ensures all opening and closing procedures are completed.

The role supervises store crew activities, communicates with management and colleagues, assists customers, and supports merchandise presentation, pricing, stocking, displays, and inventory. The position requires a full-time flexible schedule that may include early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts, overtime as needed, and responding to urgent store issues.

Requirements

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills.
• Advanced communication, supervision, and influencing skills.
• Ability to work a full-time flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts.
• Ability to work overtime as needed and respond to urgent store issues.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with store management and store crews.
• Supervise the store crew by assigning, directing, and following up on activities.
• Communicate information effectively to and from store management and crews.
• Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
• Promote CVS’s customer service culture by greeting customers, offering help, and thanking them.
• Handle customer relations issues according to company policy and promote a positive shopping experience.
• Provide colleagues with personalized customer service feedback and coaching.
• Maintain customer and patient confidentiality.
• Price merchandise and stock shelves.
• Support planning and execution of displays, signage, and inventory for weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.
• Support planning, execution, display, and maintenance of off-shelf merchandise.
• Lead the store and supervisory staff when no manager is onsite, ensure smooth operations, and complete opening and closing procedures.
