About The Position

New Bedford Harbor Hotel is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee day-to-day hotel operations and help deliver an exceptional guest experience while maximizing profitability. The position provides leadership, coaching, and operational support across the Front Desk, Housekeeping, and 222 Union Food & Beverage departments. The supervisor may be assigned responsibility for departments by the General Manager and must be available to work across hotel departments as operational needs require. The role is full-time and includes weekends and holidays. Pay is $20–$23 per hour.

Requirements

Availability and flexibility to work across all hotel departments as operational needs require.
Solid knowledge of the hotel and hospitality industry, gained through relevant experience and/or training.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests, employees, vendors, and management.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Commitment to exceptional guest service and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Assume responsibility for departments as assigned by the General Manager.
Monitor and analyze guest satisfaction scores with staff and management, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop strategies to enhance the guest experience.
Ensure guest reviews are answered promptly and professionally.
Respond promptly and effectively to guest and employee needs, concerns, and requests.
Assist with food and beverage operations as needed in the 222 Cafe.
Support onboarding and training of new team members.
Help maintain smooth hotel operations wherever needed.
