About The Position

GEODIS is a global third-party logistics provider that helps move goods worldwide. The Operations Supervisor leads import team personnel by managing workflow and productivity, addressing employee performance, and upholding personnel standards. The role also oversees customs compliance and broker management reporting, customer communication and rate quotes, customer-specific operating procedures, and accounting processes.

Requirements

Minimum 5 to 7 years of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory capacity.
Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Strong work ethic.
Positive attitude, attention to detail, high-level customer service, and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

Supervise import team personnel, manage workflow and productivity, and address employee performance and personnel standards.
Prepare and monitor customs compliance and broker management reports.
Maintain communication with customers and provide market-competitive rate quotes.
Develop internal operating procedures based on customer specifications.
Handle accounting processes, including monitoring APIAR issues, post-entry reviews, and audits.
