About The Position

The Operations Supervisor is a member of the store management team who supports store success by building and retaining a high-performing team, delivering world-class customer service, and helping exceed sales plans. This hands-on leadership role includes coaching and mentoring team members, managing floor activity, monitoring payroll and operational processes, and supporting staffing and performance goals. The position is described as offering a flexible schedule.

Requirements

• High school diploma or degree.
• Two to four years of prior retail management experience in an apparel or specialty store environment.
• Prior experience with a computerized POS system.

Responsibilities

• Lead and model a customer-first culture across all roles.
• Manage the sales floor by assigning shifts, reviewing results, and providing feedback to maintain a five-star guest experience.
• Provide ongoing coaching and training to improve individual selling skills, behaviors, and processes.
• Monitor store payroll to help ensure hours remain within the monthly budget, and accurately monitor and acknowledge timesheets for scheduled shifts, breaks, and meals.
• Help lead the store to consistently achieve Total Monthly Income goals through foundational excellence and performance-based leadership across front-of-house and alterations.
• Monitor inventory management, special orders, receiving processes, layaway, out-of-stock marking, and repairs, and ensure merchandise meets first-quality standards.
• Communicate daily sales goals to team members and drive action through Chat Ins and Chat Outs.
• Observe individual team member performance and enforce improvement action plans through weekly performance discussions using customer reviews and mystery shops.
• Help build a strong talent pipeline and ensure the store is staffed to achieve staffing goals, filling open positions within 30 days.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
