Woodward's Aerospace Division in Niles, Illinois is looking for a proactive and results-driven Operations Supervisor to lead and support our front-line team in achieving daily production goals and operational excellence. Computer Skills: Strong skills in Excel, Power BI, or Tableau for operational reporting. Ability to analyze production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities. Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems like SAP. Basic understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) for inventory and production scheduling

This includes skills such as empathy, self-awareness, emotional regulation, social awareness, and relationship management to foster positive interactions and resolve challenges constructively.

Extensive experience in CNC Machining: 5 axis Mill/Turn, 3-4 axis Lathes, 3-4 axis Mills, Swiss, Gear Hobbing/Shaping, OD/ID Grinding, EDM
Supervision in a union environment

Responsibilities

Provide direct support to front line team members in meeting their daily production targets to ensure customer expectations are met.
Allocates and coordinates resources effectively to meet operational objectives.
Conducts performance evaluations, provides feedback, manages member development, recognition and ensures accountability and policy adherence.
Identifies and resolves day-to-day technical and operational issues and coaching and mentoring team's problem-solving capabilities.
Collaborates with key stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness to improve the production system and meet customer demand.
