About The Position

Amentum, a large government contract company, is seeking an Operations Specialist to support the Camp East Montana contract in El Paso, TX. With limited direction and minimal supervision, this role competently performs all Operations functions, including producing and distributing reports and data management. The Operations Specialist will analyze requirements and databases, making informed recommendations to improve all functional categories. This role provides methodical support to the development and implementation of policies and procedures for the department. The Operations Specialist will collect and analyze data, creating quality metrics that properly represent the status of department performance. Additionally, they will develop and maintain appropriate databases for tracking department activities and develop and submit timely and accurate submissions of daily, weekly, and monthly reports to management. Other qualified duties will be performed as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five (5) years of job-related experience.
  • Knowledge of the functions and operations of major U.S. Military Commands.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks independently.
  • Excellent follow-through and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication, effective leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of various computer applications (ex: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.
  • US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location.

Responsibilities

  • Producing and distributing reports and data management.

  • Consistently providing services that meet customer expectations.
  • Carrying out job activities in compliance with applicable Amentum Quality System documents and customer contracts.
  • Reading and understanding Quality Management and Customer Satisfaction responsibilities.
  • Reading, understanding, and implementing the general and specific operational, safety, quality, and environmental requirements of all plans, procedures, and policies pertaining to the job.
