About The Position

The Operations Representative will be responsible for supervising all operational processes of the station by executing defined administrative tasks and duties. This role involves supervising the station staff, including GSA and GHA, and notifying the relevant department of any new legal requirements or administration procedures that might impact operations. The representative will also review vendor invoices, implement the purchasing policy, and ensure the safe and reliable completion of all ground operations activities in accordance with local and international laws and regulations. This includes ensuring that ground processes meet the requirements of the Ground Ops Quality System, understanding and meeting customer needs for special cargo, monitoring work-processes, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and corporate documents. The role also involves coordinating Road Feeder Services, monitoring service level agreements with suppliers, and addressing any supplier issues to the Operations Manager. Additionally, the Operations Representative will guarantee that flight operations activities are performed as per company processes and procedures, ensuring that flight operational services like weather, Notams, flight plans, crew briefings, and transportation are provided as per the flight operations manual. The position also requires maintaining professional and technical knowledge through training, workshops, and professional publications, establishing personal networks, assisting in delegated projects, attending departmental meetings, and acting as a backup for colleagues.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in logistics, warehouse, freight forwarding, airport operations, or a related field is an asset.
  • Good understanding of operational, safety, and security procedures.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook and Excel
  • Good command of English.

  • Ability to adapt to new softwares, experience of Icargo or similar software is a plus
