About The Position

Venture Global LNG is seeking a qualified Operations Project Coordinator, Mechanical for their Plaquemines Parish Liquefied Natural Gas (PLNG) facility in Point Celeste, Louisiana. This role reports to the Shutdown Turnaround Outage (STO) Director and is responsible for managing the STO Mechanical work. The primary focus is to coordinate and direct the safe execution of Turnaround Mechanical works, requiring collaboration with Turnaround Contractors, Operations, Maintenance (Planning and Execution), Engineering, Procurement, Warranty, and Project Departments.

Requirements

• Minimum three (3+) years’ work experience as Mechanical routine maintenance Execution Lead or Supervisor.
• Minimum three (3+) years as Mechanical Turnaround Coordinator in Oil and Gas, LNG or petrochemical facilities.
• Knowledge and experience in the different cycles of Turnaround and project controls and best practices.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledgeable in SAP Plant Maintenance as “End User” level.
• Must maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card in good standing.
• Minimum a high school diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

• Project Management PMP training or certification is a plus.
• Familiar with Primavera Project Management P6, MS Project experience is a plus.
• Experience in commissioning, startup, and maintenance of Oil & Gas or petrochemical facilities is preferred.
• Technical degree, Mechanical Trade or PMP certification – or similar is a plus.

Responsibilities
