About The Position

State Street Global Delivery Data Operations is seeking a Vice President to lead Process Transformation. The role will lead automation, change, and AI adoption across the operations team and support the development of new services and offerings. The successful candidate will work with Operations management on data delivery initiatives and business and data solutions, collaborating with technology and product partners to execute strategic plans for sophisticated data solutions. The role manages a team of contributors and builds relationships with business and technology stakeholders. The position analyzes complex business service flows across front-, middle-, and back-office operating models, with a focus on data management and delivery. In this client-facing role, the lead drives strategic solution design, business architecture, business solutions and services, and program and project execution and reporting.

Requirements

12+ years of experience in transformation, data analysis, operations, or product management.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, MIS, Information Technology, or a related field of study.
Strong technical skills and a background in custody, accounting, and/or performance.
Strong business analysis and planning skills, strategic thinking, and ability to identify and interpret broad issues.
Ability to create data and business process flows and define business problems, solutions, and designs using various tools.
Proven experience analyzing business requirements and driving tasks through to completion.
Experience designing and optimizing user experience across interfaces to maximize engagement and adoption.
Excellent time-management and organization skills, including ability to manage competing priorities.
Product Owner experience using Agile methodologies.
Related financial services experience and a good understanding of State Street businesses.
Understanding of Data Operations, processes, and procedures, with an ability to learn quickly.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, facilitation, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Proficiency with MS Office products, MS Access, Visio, Jira, Confluence, and PowerPoint.
Demonstrated excellence in business writing, developing business process flow diagrams, comparing current and future processes, and communicating effectively.
Data analysis technical skills, including MYSS, SQL, data visualization tools, and Power BI.

Responsibilities

Establish partnerships with Operations, Technology, Product, and end-to-end architecture stakeholders to coordinate cross-functional business data solutions and products in support of client and business goals.
Lead reporting on data delivery methods and data quality results, and improve change management processes.
Create and execute end-to-end transformation roadmaps.
Set KPIs, measure change initiative success, and drive operational efficiencies.
Liaise between business and technology teams to support product demand opportunities as part of the data strategy.
Connect business goals and strategies with the data and technology investments needed to achieve them.
Communicate recommendations to management and senior business leaders through effective written and oral communication.
Assist with pricing strategies and product policies.
Manage individual contributors and collaborate with business and technology stakeholders.
Drive strategic solution design, business architecture, business solutions and services, and program and project execution and reporting.
