Operations Process Transformation Lead, Vice President
About The Position
State Street Global Delivery Data Operations is seeking a Vice President to lead process transformation, automation, change, and AI adoption within its operations team. The role works with Operations management to lead data delivery initiatives and provide data and business solutions, collaborating with Technology and Product partners. The leader manages a team of contributors, builds stakeholder relationships, and supports timely execution of strategic plans for sophisticated data solutions. The position analyzes complex business service flows across front-, middle-, and back-office operating models, with a focus on data management and delivery. In this client-facing role, the successful candidate drives strategic solution design, business architecture, business solutions and services, and program and project execution and reporting.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in transformation, data analysis, operations, or product management.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, MIS, Information Technology, or a related field of study.
- Strong technical skills, with a background in custody, accounting, and/or performance.
- Strategic thinking, business analysis, planning, and big-picture problem-solving skills.
- Ability to create data and business process flows and define business problems, solutions, and designs using various tools.
- Experience analyzing business requirements to meet critical business needs and driving tasks through to completion.
- Experience designing and optimizing user experiences across different interfaces to maximize engagement and adoption.
- Strong time management and organizational skills, including managing competing priorities.
- Product Owner experience using Agile methodologies.
- Related financial services experience and a good understanding of State Street businesses.
- Understanding of Data Operations, processes, and procedures, with the ability to learn quickly.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, facilitation, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office products, MS Access, Visio, Jira, Confluence, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent business writing, business process flow diagram development, comparison of current and future processes, and effective communication.
- Data analysis technical skills, including MYSS, SQL, data visualization tools, and Power BI.

Responsibilities
- Establish partnerships with Operations, Technology, Product, and end-to-end architecture stakeholders to coordinate cross-functional business data solutions and products supporting client and business goals.
- Lead reporting on data delivery methods and data quality results, and improve change management processes.
- Create and execute end-to-end transformation roadmaps.
- Set KPIs, measure the success of change initiatives, and drive operational efficiencies.
- Liaise between business and technology teams to support product demand opportunities as part of data strategy.
- Apply knowledge of front-to-back investment management and investment services, focusing on user data requirements.
- Connect business goals and strategies with the data and technology investments needed to achieve them.
- Communicate recommendations to management and senior business leaders through effective written and oral communication.
- Assist with pricing strategies and product policies.
- Manage a team of contributors and collaborate with business and technology stakeholders.
