About The Position

State Street Global Delivery Data Operations is seeking a Vice President to lead process transformation. The role leads automation, change, and AI adoption, working with Operations management to deliver data initiatives and business solutions in collaboration with technology and product partners. The position manages a team of contributors, builds stakeholder relationships, and supports the timely execution of long-term plans for sophisticated data solutions. The role analyzes complex service flows across front-, middle-, and back-office operating models, with a focus on data management and delivery. In this client-facing position, the successful candidate drives strategic solution design, business architecture, business solutions and services, and program or project execution and reporting. The role also supports the design and delivery of data services that help clients make better decisions, scale, and deliver returns.

Requirements

12+ years of experience in transformation, data analysis, operations, or product management.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, MIS, information technology, or a related field of study.
Strong technical skills and a background in custody, accounting, and/or performance.
Strategic thinking, strong business analysis and planning skills, and a broad understanding of business issues.
Ability to create data and business process flows and define business problems, solutions, and designs using various tools.
Proven experience analyzing business requirements to meet critical business needs and driving tasks through to completion.
Experience designing and optimizing user experience across interfaces to maximize engagement and adoption.
Excellent time management and organizational skills, including managing competing priorities.
Product Owner experience using Agile methodologies.
Related financial services experience and a good understanding of State Street businesses.
Understanding of Data Operations, processes, and procedures, with the ability to learn quickly.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, facilitation, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including MS Access, Visio, Jira, Confluence, and PowerPoint.
Demonstrated excellence in business writing, developing business process flow diagrams, comparing current and future processes, and communicating effectively.
Data analysis technical skills, including MYSS, SQL, data visualization tools, and Power BI.
Experience managing individual contributors.

Responsibilities

Establish partnerships with Operations, Technology, Product, and end-to-end architecture stakeholders to coordinate cross-functional data solutions and products supporting client and business goals.
Lead reporting on data delivery methods and data quality results, and improve change management processes.
Create and execute end-to-end transformation roadmaps.
Set KPIs, measure the success of change initiatives, and drive operational efficiencies.
Serve as a liaison between business and technology teams to support product demand opportunities as part of the data strategy.
Apply knowledge of front-to-back investment management and investment services, focusing on user data requirements.
Connect business goals and strategies with the data and technology investments needed to achieve them.
Communicate recommendations to management and senior business leaders through effective written and oral communication.
Assist with pricing strategies and product policies.
Manage a team of contributors.
