About The Position
The Operations Manager is responsible for meeting monthly operations revenue goals and supporting member retention through strong member experiences and effective club operations. The role leads the operational team, maintains day-to-day club processes and supplies, oversees point-of-sale activity and revenue reporting, and manages inventory activities in accordance with company guidelines. The position is based in a fitness-focused club environment offering access to fitness centers, classes, wellness programs, and in-house training.
Requirements
- Highly organized and willing to take leadership responsibilities regardless of the situation.
- Strong oral, presentation, and written communication skills.
- Experience in the health and fitness industry.
- Experience as a manager.
- Experience in a health club or the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities
- Meet monthly operations revenue goals.
- Support member retention by advocating for positive member experiences and effective operational processes in the club.
- Hire, train, and develop a strong operational team.
- Ensure team members consistently meet expectations for friendliness, cleanliness, punctuality, and dress code.
- Promote shared responsibility and teamwork across club functions to improve member and team member experiences.
- Maintain an efficient back office.
- Order and maintain supplies.
- Supervise point-of-sale operations and file daily and weekly club revenue reports.
- Oversee proper inventory receiving and inventory control according to company guidelines.
- Prepare inventory reports.
