Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in warehouse operations, distribution, or light industrial environments.
  • Demonstrated experience leading a team — assigning work, coaching, managing performance.
  • Competency with ERP/WMS systems; D365 experience preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of receiving, kitting, pick/pack/ship, cycle counting, and VMI.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Forklift certified or ability to certify.

  • Logistics or warehouse certification
  • Experience in multi-site operation with centralized leadership
  • Background in light assembly or kitting environments
  • Continuous improvement mindset; Lean or Six Sigma exposure a plus
  • Rubber compounds knowledge a plus

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, in addition to staying up to date with requirements to maintain exemplary standards of health and safety across all work areas.
  • Owns daily site operations — receiving, inventory, kitting, pick/pack/ship — to accuracy and on-time delivery standards.
  • Leads and develops a team of 6: assigns work, coaches performance, addresses issues, and builds cross-training so no single person is a dependency.
  • Builds and maintains a structured onboarding program
  • Owns site safety, including Diploma Safety Standards, OSHA standards, and team accountability to both.
  • Ensures ERP (D365) transaction accuracy across all warehouse functions.
  • Tracks and reports site metrics (OTIF, shipping accuracy, inventory accuracy, labor productivity) to the Director regularly
  • Identifies root causes of recurring operational errors and implements permanent fixes
  • Serves as the primary site liaison to Customer Service, Purchasing, and Quality.
  • Contributes site-level inputs to SIOP and supply planning as directed by the Director.
