Operations Manager - Secure Transportation

About The Position

GardaWorld Cash is seeking an Operations Manager to lead daily operations in a secure cash-processing environment. The role oversees cash, coin, check, ATM settlement, and change-order processing to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely service while meeting performance, quality, security, and compliance standards. The manager develops supervisors and operational teams, manages staffing and schedules, addresses operational issues and discrepancies, supports customer relationships, and partners with site leadership on operational and financial goals. The role may also assume site leadership responsibilities as needed. The position is based in a fast-paced, secure production environment. The schedule is flexible based on business and operational needs, with occasional evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime potentially required. Travel may be up to 20%, depending on location and business needs. Physical requirements include standing, walking, bending, lifting, and moving throughout the workday; regularly lifting up to 50 pounds and occasionally moving heavier items with assistance; prolonged standing; and computer use.

Requirements

At least 3 years of leadership experience managing teams in operations, manufacturing, logistics, production, banking, or another high-volume processing environment.
Demonstrated ability to motivate employees, manage performance, and drive results.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
High school diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

Experience in cash handling, cash vault operations, banking operations, armored transportation, or a secure processing environment.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field.
Experience managing supervisors or multiple operational teams.

Responsibilities

Foster accountability, safety, security, and teamwork.
Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and audit standards.
Support customer relationships and represent the operation during meetings and discussions.
Step into site leadership responsibilities when needed.
