Requirements

  • 4+ years of leadership experience.
  • Experience with safety procedures within a distribution center environment.
  • Established track record of taking ownership and delivering results.
  • Understanding of Lean and Six Sigma.

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, General Management or a related field, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Managing staff, fostering a positive work environment, ensuring customer satisfaction and proper departmental operation.
  • Implementing strategies that increase productivity and enable the company to hit revenue goals.
  • Directing several operational aspects including distribution operations, customer service, human resources, and recruiting.
  • Ensuring that we meet and exceed our merchant’s expectations.
  • Managing performance KPIs, identifying and tracking key metrics and planning continuous improvement efforts for your facility.
  • Using data driven reports and analyses to identify avenues for continuous improvement and proposing solutions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities.
  • Hiring, training, coaching and motivating team members in your facility; setting the team’s goals and managing them.
  • Establishing, following and enforcing safety standards and procedures in compliance with a healthy work environment and legal requirements.
  • Sharing knowledge with other locations and headquarters on effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities and needs.
  • Ensuring that all operational processes, including receiving, storage, handling, and shipping, maintain the safety, quality, and legality of products.
  • Supporting adherence to standard operating procedures and ensuring timely escalation of any product-related issues.
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as necessary.
