About The Position

The Operations Manager provides strategic management for the infrastructure that enables scalable, equitable, and high-impact career services across undergraduate and graduate populations. This role supports database administration, event operations, recruiting-related programming, external outreach, and special projects. This position is housed in the Student Success Center, which serves as an integrated hub for academic advising, student engagement, career readiness, experiential learning, and student support within Daniels. Within the Student Success Center, the Career Services Operations Manager supports the systems, processes, events, and employer-facing operations that help students secure meaningful career opportunities and industry networks.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree required
  • 3+ years of experience in operations, human resources, administration, or related field.
  • Ability to work independently under general direction.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-based environment.
  • Adaptable to new technology and software
  • Ability to support individuals in reaching shared objectives.
  • Ability to develop, maintain, and analyze large databases using Excel, AirTable, Salesforce, and related tools.
  • Ability to generate and analyze industry reports.
  • Ability to synthesize data and support strategic planning around internships, outcomes, and industry partner growth
  • Strong organizational, planning, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic oversight of career platforms, including 12Twenty (PCO), RAIN Careers, and Interstride, etc., to ensure usability, integration, data integrity, and alignment with institutional priorities.
  • Track external communications, relationship management activity, and recruiting efforts within Salesforce and 12Twenty.
  • Manage high-level recruiter relationships by supporting job postings, responding to employer needs, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Support talent development strategy, account management, and market intelligence to strengthen employer engagement and student opportunity pipelines.
  • Maintain consistent communication with career coaches and departments regarding opportunities available through internal platforms for students to apply and secure.
  • Communicate employer needs, recruiting updates, and student opportunities to internal staff and relevant campus partners.
  • Provide logistical coordination and operational support for career fairs, employer events, and on-campus recruitment activities.
  • Supervise one or more graduate or undergraduate student assistants, including recruiting, training, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing coaching.
