About The Position

This role is responsible for asset protection within a Distribution Center/Fulfillment Center environment. The Operations Manager will leverage data and digital literacy to identify problems, determine root causes, and implement solutions. They will also focus on business acumen to develop business cases and translate requirements into actionable projects. Environmental protection knowledge is required to support regulatory visits and integrate environmental considerations into process design. Operational excellence is key, involving understanding organizational processes, root cause analysis, and standard operating procedures. The role also encompasses asset protection and security, including conducting investigations, implementing access control, and maintaining asset prevention records. Partnership and collaboration with stakeholders are essential, as is influential communication to present findings and influence decision-making. Employee health and safety are paramount, requiring knowledge of OSHA guidelines and the ability to coordinate with emergency responders and develop evacuation plans. Process improvement skills are needed to identify and address systemic problems and coach team members. Finally, the role involves training delivery and risk management, including conducting risk assessments and implementing risk management strategies. The Operations Manager will also coordinate job-related activities, develop relationships with stakeholders, and provide supervision and development opportunities for associates, ensuring compliance with company policies and values.

Requirements

2 years' experience in Retail, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing environment.
Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Occupational Safety Management, Audit, or related field; AND 1 years' experience in the field of Asset Protection, Audit, Investigations, or Environmental, Health and Safety within Supply Chain, Retail, and Manufacturing, or related field.
OR 3 years' experience in the field of Asset Protection, Audit, Investigations, Safety or Environmental, Health and Safety within Supply Chain, Retail, Manufacturing, or related field.

Assists with the installation and monitoring of emergency and surveillance services (e.g., fire alarms, refrigeration alarms, metal detectors, CCTV).
Maintains asset prevention records.
Generates standard loss and shrinkage reports.
Works to support the development and use of practices for reducing loss and shrinkage.
Detects and reports incidents of loss and shrinkage as well as related issues.
Engages with team members on a periodic basis and establishes credibility.
