The Asset Protection Associate is responsible for supporting facility security, monitoring and maintaining access control equipment, and ensuring employee health and safety. This role involves understanding and applying asset protection policies, environmental health and safety laws, and OSHA guidelines. The associate will conduct compliance, safety, and food safety audits, act as an interface for workers' compensation issues, and gather and interpret data to create reports. Additionally, the role requires collaboration with stakeholders, delivery of project activities, and suggesting process improvements. The associate will also be involved in EHS training delivery, influential communication, and implementing environmental protection policies and operational excellence standards. This position is part of the Sam's Club team, focusing on helping customers save money so they can live better.
