About The Position

Cerro Wire LLC, part of Marmon Electrical and Marmon Holdings, offers a two-year rotational program called Accelerated Manufacturing & Production Excellence Development (AMPED), planned to begin in June 2027. The program prepares future operations plant leaders through three eight-month rotations across key manufacturing sites. Rotations are primarily among two locations in Hartselle, Alabama; Indiana and Utah manufacturing sites may also be included. Participants gain operational and leadership experience through technical and leadership training, certifications, mentorship, and project-based rotations. The program also includes participation across Marmon Utility, Marmon Aerospace & Defense, and Marmon Industrial Energy & Infrastructure. The cohort consists of two participants annually. Associates complete rotations across Production Operations, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Quality, and lead a cross-functional continuous-improvement capstone project with measurable business impact. Participants are paired with a senior operations leader and receive training in early-career readiness, situational leadership, conflict resolution, safety, and lean management. After the program, graduates are placed in key operations roles, targeting Production Supervisor or an equivalent-level position such as Process Engineer, Planner, or Quality Control Analyst, depending on availability. The program strengthens the company's pipeline for Plant Management succession. Candidates must be willing to relocate for rotations and post-program placement, commute within the defined working state, travel 10–15%, and work first, second, or third shifts. Candidates receiving a conditional offer will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law. Cerro Wire is an equal opportunity employer and offers reasonable accommodations during the application and recruiting process upon request.
