About The Position

Cerro Wire LLC is hiring participants for the Operations Leadership Development Program, a two-year rotational program planned to begin in June 2027. The program, titled Accelerated Manufacturing & Production Excellence Development (AMPED), prepares future operations plant leaders through three eight-month rotations across key manufacturing sites. Core locations are in Hartselle, Alabama, with Indiana and Utah sites potentially included. Participants may also work with three other Marmon Electrical platforms: Marmon Utility, Marmon Aerospace & Defense, and Marmon Industrial Energy & Infrastructure. Participants receive structured technical and leadership training, certifications, mentorship, and project-based experience. Rotations cover production operations, maintenance, supply chain, and quality. Program highlights include a cross-functional continuous-improvement capstone project with measurable business impact, mentorship from a senior operations leader, and training in early-career readiness, situational leadership, conflict resolution, safety, and lean management. Graduates are placed in key operations roles, with Production Supervisor as the target placement or an equivalent-level role such as Process Engineer, Planner, or Quality Control Analyst, depending on availability. The program is intended to strengthen the long-term pipeline for plant-management succession.
