About The Position

The Operations Lead is the go-to expert on the production line, coaching the team, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring products meet quality standards. The role drives production performance and supports team development. Responsibilities include monitoring and documenting line performance, maintaining food safety and product quality, setting up and adjusting production machinery, resolving basic mechanical issues, and supporting facility safety and sanitation.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available.
• Must be able to become certified to operate equipment.
• Must be able to problem solve and perform basic math.
• Must be able to stand continuously and perform repetitive hand and finger movements at line speed.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, including above the head and below the waist.
• Must be able to work in varying temperature conditions.
• Must be able to work overtime and/or weekends as needed and adjust quickly to changing demands.

Nice To Haves

• Previous food manufacturing experience is a plus.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Audit hourly scanning and promptly correct production variances to drive hour-by-hour line performance.
• Consolidate production data and documentation in the dashboard every two hours, ensuring data accuracy.
• Maintain product quality, including proper meat quality and temperature standards.
• Complete required HACCP documentation and ensure adherence to food safety standards.
• Set up and tear down machinery, including installing and removing tooling, dies, and molds.
• Manage and adjust production parameters such as pressures, weights, temperatures, sizing, and mix times.
• Perform minor equipment adjustments and troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize line downtime.
• Safely operate a powered industrial truck when necessary.
• Maintain sanitation across the work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
