About The Position

As an Operations Lead, you are the go-to expert on the production line, coaching the team, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring products meet quality standards. You drive production performance and support continuous operational improvement. The role includes monitoring production data, maintaining food safety and quality standards, setting up and adjusting machinery, resolving minor mechanical issues, and maintaining a safe and sanitary work area.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available.
Must be able to become certified to operate equipment.
Must be able to problem-solve and perform basic math.
Must be able to stand continuously and perform repetitive hand and finger movements at line speed.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, including above the head and below the waist.
Must be able to work in varying temperature conditions.
Must be able to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.
Must be able to adjust quickly to changing demands.

Nice To Haves

Previous food manufacturing experience is a plus.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

Drive hour-by-hour line performance by auditing hourly scanning and correcting variances immediately.
Consolidate production data and documentation in the dashboard every two hours, ensuring data accuracy.
Maintain proper meat quality and temperature standards.
Complete required HACCP documentation and ensure adherence to food safety standards.
Set up and tear down complex machinery, including installing and removing tooling, dies, and molds.
Manage and adjust production parameters such as pressures, weights, temperatures, sizing, and mix times.
Use basic mechanical knowledge to make minor adjustments and troubleshoot equipment.
Resolve mechanical issues quickly to minimize line downtime.
Safely operate a powered industrial truck when necessary.
Maintain sanitation across the work area.
Perform other duties as assigned.
